MODERn SLAVERY POLICY

1. Our commitment

SANNAN INTERNATIONAL has zero tolerance for slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, human trafficking, debt bondage, child labour and other severe labour exploitation. We are committed to respecting internationally recognised human rights and to taking proportionate steps to prevent modern slavery in our operations and supply chains.

2. Scope

This policy applies to directors, employees, temporary workers, agents, contractors, consultants and suppliers. It covers recruitment, warehousing, transport, logistics, manufacturing, remanufacturing, repair, packaging, cleaning, security and other activities connected to our business.

3. Expected standards

 · Work must be freely chosen. Workers must be free to leave employment subject to lawful notice and must not be threatened, confined or controlled through violence, intimidation or debt.

· No worker’s passport, identity document, bank card or personal property may be withheld except for a lawful, temporary and documented purpose with the worker’s genuine consent.

· Recruitment fees must not be charged to workers. Wages, working hours, rest, leave and deductions must comply with applicable law and be explained clearly.

· Child labour is prohibited. Young workers may only be engaged lawfully, safely and without interference with compulsory education.

Workers must have access to a safe grievance route and must not face retaliation for raising genuine concerns.

4. Risk assessment and due diligence

We apply a proportionate, risk-based approach. Factors may include country risk, sector risk, use of migrant or agency labour, recruitment practices, subcontracting, dormitory arrangements, low-cost or urgent sourcing, lack of transparency and previous concerns. Higher-risk suppliers or transactions may require additional information, contractual assurances, site evidence, audits or independent verification.

5. Supplier response and remediation

Suppliers are expected to cooperate with reasonable enquiries and corrective action. Where a concern is identified, our priority is the safety and welfare of affected people. Depending on the circumstances, we may require a remediation plan, engage specialist support, suspend orders, terminate the relationship.

Immediate termination will not be automatic where it could worsen harm to workers, unless continued engagement is unsafe, unlawful or ineffective.

6. Training, reporting and monitoring

Relevant personnel should receive proportionate awareness training. Concerns may be reported to management or through the website contact form and will be handled as confidentially as reasonably possible. We will monitor significant risks, incidents, supplier responses and corrective actions and review this policy at least annually.

This page is a standing policy.
