ANTI COUNTERFEIT POLICY

1. Zero tolerance

SANNAN INTERNATIONAL does not knowingly buy, import, store, advertise, supply or fit counterfeit, fraudulently labelled, unauthorised or deliberately misdescribed products. Counterfeit automotive parts can create serious safety risks and damage customers, manufacturers and the legitimate supply chain.

2 . Accurate product descriptions

The following descriptions must be used carefully and only where supported by evidence:

· Genuine: supplied under the vehicle or component manufacturer’s brand and authorised packaging or documentation.

· OEM: made by an original equipment manufacturer for the relevant application. The term must not be used merely because a supplier claims “OE quality”.

· Aftermarket: made by an independent brand and clearly identified as such, without misleading use of another party’s trade marks.

· Remanufactured or reconditioned: previously used product restored through a defined process. The condition, warranty and source must be stated clearly.

Used or core: previously used material supplied in its actual condition and not represented as new or remanufactured.

3. Supplier approval and purchasing controls

  · Use identifiable and reputable suppliers, with enhanced checks for high-risk products, unusually low prices, unfamiliar payment routes or inconsistent documentation.

· Obtain and retain invoices, product references, manufacturer or distributor details, photographs, batch or serial information where available, and relevant certificates or warranty documents.

· Do not rely solely on packaging, logos, marketplace ratings or verbal assurances as proof of authenticity.

4. Inspection and traceability

Incoming goods should be checked in proportion to risk for packaging quality, spelling, labels, holograms, part numbers, serial or batch codes, finish, weight, dimensions, markings and consistency with trusted reference information. Traceability records should link the supplier, purchase, shipment and customer wherever reasonably possible.

5. Suspected counterfeit or unsafe goods

1. Stop sale, supply or installation immediately.

2. Quarantine and clearly identify the goods to prevent accidental release.

3. Preserve packaging, labels, invoices, photographs, communications and shipping records.

4. Escalate the matter to management and contact the brand owner, authorised distributor, customer or relevant authority as appropriate.

5. Do not quietly return suspect goods into the supply chain without preserving evidence and assessing reporting obligations.

6. Where goods have already been supplied, assess customer notification, withdrawal, recall and other corrective action promptly.

6. Customer reports

Customers who suspect that a product supplied by us is counterfeit, incorrectly described or unsafe should stop using it where safety may be affected and contact us through the website contact form. Useful information includes the invoice number, part number, vehicle or equipment application, photographs, packaging, labels and a description of the concern.

7. Enforcement and improvement

We may suspend or terminate suppliers, reject or destroy goods where lawful, cooperate with rights holders and authorities, and seek recovery of losses. We will review trends, complaints and incidents to improve sourcing controls and staff awareness.
